Pregnancy is a special time in life. And many expectant patientsespecially first-time momsare looking for extra understanding and empathy. Now, under a shared care arrangement, two women who are family physicians and mothers themselves are providing prenatal care in the Charlevoix area.
Geralyn Doskoch, MD, has teamed up with OB/Gyn specialists James Jeakle, MD, and William Mosher III, MD, in the newly named Charlevoix Womens Health Care practice to offer pre- and postnatal care. And, at the Boyne Area Medical Center, Andrea Wendling, MD, will provide comprehensive prenatal and follow-up care to women in that community.

Some patients prefer to have a woman physician care for them during pregnancy. Now, they can choose one of two excellent doctors who are known for their gentle, understanding mannerand do so knowing they will be able to deliver their baby here at the Birthing Center.
